10/11: an evening in old El Paso, Texas - pics
After a grueling 29 hours train ride from New Orleans to El Paso, we decided that we were finished with our Amtrac pass, and would spend our money on a Best Western in El Paso and then fly to Yuma, AZ. We took a nice dip in the pool and then went for a walk to find a Mexican restaurant. It was a Sunday and our dining choices were slim. We found our first sports bar the Ojos Locos and were served some tacos by our waitress Kimberly. Margi nicknamed her glitter eyes. Then we walked back to the hotel and called it an early night.
